AYSO 2021 soccer
Thank you all again for your participation in our fall outdoor soccer program. We definitely will look at the season as a success as we were able to play the whole season amid COVID-19 and the health concerns around keeping our community safe and healthy.
WHAT IS NEXT?
Twinsburg AYSO will be offering a spring outdoor program in 2021. We are working out the details of program but we expect the games to be short sided (3v3, 4v4, 5v5) and play in early spring (Mid April start).
We will NOT be presenting an indoor program for 2021. We expect COVID-19 to still be very much with us in at least early 2021. Being indoors, without the air circulation you get outdoors, makes the COVID-19 risk much greater. We don’t want to expose our players, coaches, refs and spectators to that risk. In addition, running an indoor program is considerably more expensive than outdoors. We took a significant financial hit last year from the indoor program. We can’t afford to run that risk again. Our plans are to continue our indoor program in 2022 when we hope the world is right.
As spring 2021 gets nearer, there will be additional emails about the spring outdoor program. Registration for spring 2021 is NOT open yet.
